Personality: Alice is a whimsical girl, ever since she was younger she always found herself wandering off into the woods near her family's garden and off having adventures. She never wanted her life to turn out normally, and the only way she gets the chance to escape that is to write about how she wishes her adventures would turn out. She doesn't make friends easily because she's so shy, but once you get her talking she can tell you of all of the wonderous dreams she's had and the adventure's she plans to take. Half the time, she even wonders if there are other worlds from her own magical one of which she can venture to. Perhaps there's another world where everything was upside down, or black and white! There were so many different possibilities.
Alice is very creative, she often thinks of six impossible things before noon, and she finds herself walking aimlessly for hours before she realizes that she is, in fact, lost. It's often that she never finds her way home without some assistance. She's forgetful at the best of times, and she's emotional at the worst of times. If you give her a problem she can't solve, she will begin to get a little emotional, a few tears shed here and there - although, it's nothing compared to what she used to be as a teenager.
Eyes: Bright Green
Hair: Blonde
Physique:Alice is tall and slender, she's grown up a lot since her youth. She has an average physique, nothing to brag about. Her blonde hair has matted to a dark gold, and she finds herself often keeping it loose, sometimes unbrushed if she forgets in the mornings. She doesn't wear makeup very much, but when she does it's mostly just a nude lipstick and a little blush. She mostly wears dresses, but you can often see her in skirts. Her skin is pale, but she herself spends lots of time outdoors, writing in meadows or other outdoor places in good and bad weather alike.

History: Once upon a time, Alice Bell grew up in a small town where her father would often teach her to be more imaginative and creative. Her father was a writer and Alice vowed that one day she would become one as well. After her father died when she was only eleven, her mother and sister became more involved in their studies. Her mother and her sister was reading boring history books day after day. Alice couldn't understand why they weren't so frustrated and angry about the passing of her father. By revolting in her teen years, she found herself experimenting more and more with adventures, finding herself lost in a matter of minutes every time she ventured beyond her family's estate. She often fell over and hit her head, experiencing strange dreams or strange other 'realms' as she liked to think. Sometimes the experiences felt so real, she almost felt as though she could control every action and every move she made. She always woke in the same place where she started, and she was never damaged. Although, there were always the same people, same characters whom she had then begun to grow up with.
After her teen years had passed, she began writing about the other places and kingdoms in her diary, places where her dreams managed to become a reality. She wrote about some of the characters and some of the adventures she had had. She even managed to open up about other places where she would want to go. In a way, this was how she mourned her father later in life. People know her as a whimsical writer, acceptable because her kingdom's leader is an avid reader. She loves where she is and finds herself wanting to discover more about the magical woods or the inhabitants of villages around her - she is keen in getting to know everyone's story and incorporating it into her own life novel.
Wonderland was a huge portion of Alice's life. She spent a few years down the rabbit hole in total, exploring so many new places that she lost track of time. She entered the hole at age 17 and emerged at 19, older and more confident in herself and her imagination. Wonderland was a whole new experience for her, she managed to befriend many creatures and slipped up a few times before coming to terms with the fact that her sworn enemy, the Queen of Hearts, would hate her forever. With this in mind, she kept her head high and her morals with her at all times. She would always do what she thought was best in Wonderland, the cat could never change her mind about anything she set her mind to, and of course there was always the fact that a few of her old friends would come up at the most unexpected times and take her for a ride on their adventures. Wonderland was certainly a place that has always been kept close to her heart as of late since she had left.
When she emerged from the rabbit hole she found herself lost. Her mother and sister had abandoned the estate and Alice had no idea where they had gone. Abandoned and alone, she ventured off through the woods once again. It took her a week of living off the food she would catch and her own instincts until she arrived, battered and bruised, in a kingdom she had come to know as home - the 5th Kingdom. Taken in by the villagers and the royals themselves, she found herself feeling as though all hope wasn't lost for her and her creativity since leaving Wonderland. She always kept a diary after that, documenting every encounter she had one day, and of course, wrote down six ridiculously impossible things before bed.

Role-play Example:
Chloe Parker was more or less new to France, and being only a fluent English speaker made making friends a little more difficult. She was pleased to find that most of the girls in Sournois house were also fluent English speakers, but she knew that most of them weren't too interested in getting to know a new first year student who was seventeen years old. It's not like anyone knew about her past, so she supposed she had better look on the bright side of things. She stared at her reflection in the bathroom mirror as she teased her hair a little before pulling it up into a loose bun at the back of her head. Some strands hung loose, framing her face and making it look like she had a halo around her visage. She pulled out her lipstick and puckered her lips. As she applied the deep red dye, she couldn't help but wonder what life had in store for her tonight. She knew that it wasn't policy to be able to leave the school at night, but she knew that most prefects would probably be asleep, and besides - this girl lived at night. Fluttering her mascara enhanced eyelashes, her blue orbs practically shone in the darkness - a trait given to her by her dear mother. She sighed and made sure she had everything she needed. She had heard of a brilliant bar and lounge in Paris and wanted to check it out. She grabbed her clutch - containing her wand, her muggle and wizard money - and she head out. She made sure to walk barefoot until she left the palace and was walking out onto the grounds. The crickets chirped around her as the stars shone as brightly as the sun. She slipped her feet into her boots and began to make a quick walk towards the palace gates. She felt a little like she was back home, sneaking out of her third period class with her girlfriends for a quick fag.
This is just too easy, she thought smugly as she slipped out the gates and towards the Boutiques. She could see the lake glistening as she approached the shoppes, but saw that most of the lights were out - save for the Grub Pub - there were always students and adults in there, it seemed. She ran a hand through her bangs and found her way to the passageway to the Rue de Paradis, aptly named for the place she wanted to be right then. A few minutes later, she found herself walking along the cobblestoned streets and into busy traffic. Beaming at her newfound freedom, she raised her hand and hailed a taxicab. Jetting to the newest bar and lounge was something she was talented at in London, we'll see how far her English roots would get her in Paris. The music pounded as she hopped out of the cab. There was already a line of women and men waiting to get in, she smiled at the bouncer who looked at her skeptically before she showed him her ID. Beneath her ID there was a twenty dollar American bill which did the trick. She slipped past the waiting crowds, blowing the guys at the front of the line a wink and a kiss, before she entered the whole new world of class and wealth - not to mention alcoholic beverages. She had a fantastic time, and every now and then she would check her watch. She wanted to get back before sunrise so none of the prefects would realize she was gone. She batted her eyelashes and had men buying her drinks. She charmed them and then found herself in a bathroom with a tall, dark stranger who went by the name of "Ibrahim", but Chloe knew better.
Come midnight, she bid the lounge farewell and wandered along the rues of Paris. She found herself in a park near the Rue de Paradis around one in the morning eating a gelato from a 24 hour café a few minutes away. She took a spoonful of the pink raspberry dessert and slipped the spoon delicately between her lips, sucking on the spoon a little while as her cat eyes searched the park. She tucked some loose strands of hair behind her ear as she checked her watch again. She heard footsteps around her and made sure her wand was in her clutch. She was very careful at night in a park, even if she was near the safety of the wizard world a few feet away. She felt the bench creak as the stranger sat down. She took this moment to coyly take another bite of her gelato as she took a whiff of the stranger's alluring scent. She wouldn't sneak a peak, however, since she found the scent familiar but not at all worth giving the man the satisfaction of curiosity. "Mmmmmm," she moaned as the gelato tricked down her throat.
