It was a calm day in the seventh kingdom, at least that is how she thought of it. The castle was for the most part quiet, not much was going on. Sig was in his study with the head guards, typical. As for Odette, she was in the library. She was laying on one of the couches under a large stain glass window. Her blonde hair surrounded her face as her eyes flashed across the page of the book she was reading. Odette was wearing a soft cream colored gown. It was a long flowing gown made of silk. The fact that it was made of silk wasn't why she liked it. It was the fact it was a gift from her husband. Sig wanted to have something made for Odette, something that would fit her perfectly. He had gotten one of the best cloths maker in the seventh kingdom to make it for her. It was such a sweet thing for him to do.
With a sigh she would turn the page and look out the window. It would be even better moment if Sig was out of his study. He was always working and not spending that much time with her. The idea was starting to really upset her again. Odette shook her head a little, figuring that she still shouldn't get upset. She knew that he wasn't ignoring her on purpose. Sig has said many times over that if, he could, he'd spend a whole day with her. The things that he's already promised that they'd do once he wasn't that busy. Her heart fluttered at the thoughts and stretched. Odette just had to keep her hopes up, knowing that Sig wouldn't let her down.
Pushing those thoughts aside she would really see what was outside. It was nice out, with a little snow left but it was supposed to be slightly warmer today. Odette hadn't been outside yet today to know if that was true. Going outside wasn't her idea of fun today, there was much reading that needed to get done. Reading is a relaxing activity for her to do and with her being upset about Sig, it was well needed. With a huff she placed her book mark in her book and closed it. Once it was closed she set it down on the floor and stood. She raised her arms over her head and really stretched.
The cracks and popping sounds were welcome news and she smiled. Bringing her arms down, she placed her hands in her hair and closed her eyes. She wondered if it was a wise idea to go upstairs and knock on his study. Would he welcome her? Would he let her sit on his lap and see what he was working on? Then her eyes opened slightly. Would he say this is a bad time? Would he say that she should leave?
The last thoughts upset her and made her frown. With another sigh she sat back down on the couch and looked at the book by her feet. Even if she read every book in this library, it wouldn't comfort her forever. She knew that she needs more attention from Sig. It was getting rather lonely without him around. Not being able to go on walks with him. Eating dinner by herself and even going to bed alone.

I am the shadow on the moonlit night Filling your dreams to the brim of fright! Adam wished his councilmen weren’t such suck-ups. What he wouldn’t give to be away from these insects and be with his beloved family. Not all the councilmen were suck-ups though; there were one or two who were alright and were part of his spy network. After the council session, Adam went to his bed chambers and tended to have a nap to refresh himself. They made him feel much better; feel more relaxed. The naps were a way of refreshing himself and enabling him to not become snappy at people, which he did sometimes if he was sleep-deprived or if the other person was annoying him.
The burly King of the Fifth Kingdom thought about the other rulers and realised that he hadn’t seen or spoken to them in a while; maybe he should go visit the other rulers some time. In fact, he would visit one of them right now; he had nothing better to do, but which one would he visit? He hadn’t seen Rapunzel, Snow White, Odette and Siegfried in a while. He decided he would visit the former Swan Princess. Feeling much more refreshed, Adam went to the stables and had his horse readied. Once it was ready, Adam set off for the Seventh Kingdom, going at a light pace.
When passing the Sixth Kingdom, the handsome King thought of the Fairy Godmother, the one who had cursed him. He wondered if she was alright; she had left the Kingdoms when Snow White had led her armies and the Fairy Godmother’s apprentices had freed her. Adam decided he would visit Snow after he visited Odette and Siegfried. He managed to get to the Seventh Kingdom and get to the castle. He got off his stallion and walked the horse to where the stables were. He then went to the main castle doors, standing before the guards.
“I wish to see Queen Odette and King Siegfried. Please tell them I am here.”
A guard bowed and went inside to get either ruler while Adam waited outside. Tag: Queen OdetteWords: 339

She turned the page when she heard the grand doors to the library open. At first she didn't look up from her page, thinking nothing of it. There had been maids going in and out of the library all day. With everything being so quiet she didn't think that there would be any soldiers coming into the library. However it didn't take long before the person that walked into the library make themselves known. A shadow loomed over her and she looked up to she that it was one of the soldiers that stood that the front door to the castle.
Odette slightly closed the book that she was reading and smiled a little. "My lady," The soldier started to say and bowed his head. "I'm sorry to bother you but King Adam from the fifth kingdom. He is at the front door requesting you and Siegfried."
With a sigh she put a slip of paper to mark the place in the book. Once that was in place she fully shut the book and nodded. "Bring King Adam into the main hall and prepare for anything that he asks for like food or drink. I'll tell him that Siegfried is in a meeting and won't be able to attend." She placed the book on the window ledge and got to her feet. "As for me I'll be there shortly." The soldier bowed his head again and left the library. With another sigh she turned to look out the window.
It was a wonder as to why Adam came all by himself all this way. Odette worried that something bad had happened. She wished that Sig would not be so busy and would be able to talk to Adam as well. However there was no point in bothering him in his study. She knew that he would be enlightened to hear that Adam was here but could do nothing about it. What Sig was working, whatever in detail it may be, was more important then a social between friends. She also wondered if it wasn't to late to send Adam away, knowing that it would be better with Sig here. But the queen shook her head, it was to late to do that. Odette was learning how to handling matters on her own. Which was a good thing to learn since she was queen after all.
Taking in another deep breath she turned away from the window and made her way out of the library. It took a few moments for her to reach the door, her hand resting on the handle. In that moment she paused once more, wondering if it wasn't to late to turn back. Odette shook her head hard this time and with her chin held high she opened the door.

I am the shadow on the moonlit night Filling your dreams to the brim of fright! Adam waited in silence while the guard went to fetch either ruler. He didn’t know what to say to the other guard, mainly because he didn’t live here, which got the Fifth Kingdom ruler thinking; he didn’t visit the other Kingdoms nearly enough as he should. The other Kings and Queen were his allies; surely he should visit them more. It was only right that he did so. The guard came back, smiling and said for Adam to follow him to the main hall. Adam waved farewell to the other guard and followed him. Adam gazed around him; it was just as grand as the castle he had back home in the Fifth Kingdom. He supposed all the castles throughout the Kingdoms looked grand.
The handsome King entered the main hall. The guard said for Adam to wait here, to which he did. He paced around the room, eyeing it as he did so. He wondered if Siegfried had managed to loosen up a little and spend some time with his dear, beloved wife, Odette yet. He didn’t think so, if he knew the other King. He looked and traced his finger around an expensive china vase; catching it and giving a sigh of relief when it almost fell. He checked himself in the mirror and flicked away a speck of dust from his travelling cloak. Even though he wasn’t that vain, Adam felt that he should always look his best.
He then sat in an armchair facing the door, before hearing footsteps coming his way. Adam then picked up Odette's scent. It seemed Siegfried wasn’t with her. Poor Odette; it seemed her husband was always busy with something or another, and it made Adam a little irritated at the Seventh Kingdom King. Could he not spend at least a day with Odette, or take some personal time off? Adam tilted his head to the right enquiringly; the Queen of the Seventh Kingdom was hesitating a little, he wondered why. Then she made up her mind, it seemed and came into the hall. Adam stood up and smiled at her.
“Odette, so good to see you again! It’s been too long!” said Adam, who went to Odette for an embrace. Odette looked as beautiful as ever. Tag: Queen OdetteWords: 376Notes: Sorry for taking so long

She would smile at Adam as he rose to greet her. Sometimes she forget just how much of a large man he was. At at least he was that way for her, being so lean and a little shorter. He would come to embrace her and she would return it. If there was anything that she was sure about with Adam was his kindness. In someway he's always had a big heart. She would smile a little being in his arms before he let her go. After this she felt a pang of loneliness, wishing that Sig was here.
Odette would hold back her sadness and smile. "It's nice to see you to Adam. What brings you to my kingdom?"
