It had only felt like a few weeks that Wendy had been in Neverland. It almost seemed impossible for years to have gone by, but she knew that it had to be so. After all, Michael had never been so rambunctious when they were younger. And yet, it had only been the other night, when they all sat down for supper, that Wendy did a head count and realize that her little brother was missing. Of course, Wendy wouldn’t stand for anyone of her children to be missing from the table, and she put it upon herself rather easily to find him. Flying seemed the obvious mode of transportation, but it had been so long since Wendy had left the Neverlands that she wasn’t quite sure how to make it to a surrounding world. The best plan she could come up with was going straight.
Peter had done a marvelous job at teaching her how to eat while flying, and the travel was rather easy, if not a little cold. In fact, it was continuously growing cold, and the poor girl found herself shivering as she flew over the water. The clouds weren’t helping, and it seemed she was starting to go through fog, as thick as a blanket. It was always warn on the Neverlands, and Wendy had gotten how cold the other worlds could be. Not to mention that she had been flying for so long that she was quite tired. The night sky looked down on her, stars twinkling, and Wendy silently wished that she had brought Peter along with her. She had made it clear, though, that he must stay behind with their children and keep them safe from any pirates that might try to kill them once again.
Her eyes were beginning to droop slightly, and she could feel herself slowly fall from the sky, like a feather floating down gently. In fact, she had nearly dozed off when she felt her shoe dip into the water, waking her up momentarily. Wendy rubbed at her eyes, furrowing her brow. Tire was not becoming to her, and it was making her rather cross with herself for leaving Neverland to begin with. Surely her boys would be missing her by now, and goodness knows how much laundry they had already managed to pile up. Wendy was just about to start chiding herself for leaving them all alone when her eyes caught the sight of the shore in the distance. A small smile grew on her lips. It felt like ages since her feet had touched solid ground, and the girl was eager to do so.
Once she was on the ground, the girl couldn’t help but let out a tired sigh. This wasn’t her first travel afar, but other times she had been with Peter, and he always made trips especially fun. Despite Wendy’s firm belief in staying clean while playing, and keeping one’s self presentable should the moment arise that they need to be, but she was so happy to be done flying for a while that she fell to the ground, and rolled around a bit. It was childish, she knew that, but she didn’t care. After all, no one was here to see her.

It was nice to go out for a horse back ride throw out the kingdoms. The guards didn't want her to go back by herself and once Sig heard what was going on, he made sure someone did. She had sighed when that order was given and turned away from her husband. Odette has only been queen for three years now and it was still something to get used to. Not only that but to get used to being married. However she figured that Sig didn't want to order her so much, but it was to keep her safe. They both knew that there still the chance that Rothbart was still out there and would want to take her again.
Nodding to the head guard that was told to keep her company, they headed down a narrow country path. Odette noticed that they were heading close to where the second kingdom would start to come to view. Before they really got into the kingdom, the come to a frozen lake. Odette wouldn't have paid it to much attention until she saw a young girl rolling on the ground. A smile spread across her lips as she tried not laugh. However when she looked at her guard the look on his face was to much. She burst into giggles and almost lost her crown. With a steadying breath she would fix her crown and brush her hands over her dress.
"That looks rather fun, don't you think Simon." Odette would smile at her guard and he would shrug.

Wendy hadn’t heard any one approach, certainly hadn’t felt their gaze on her, and only realized that someone else was around her when she heard the lovely voice of a woman. Wendy rolled to her side, where the voice had come from, and instantly a blush formed on her face. The young girl scrambled to her feet, brushing her dress off of the sand and leaves. The woman before her looked like royalty, with the beauty and grace of someone important. Wendy had never had a run in with a queen or a princess, and the ability to address someone of such properly eluded her. She imagined it was something like addressing a captain, and that was something she knew how to do. Wendy grabbed the edges of her dressed and curtsied low, not quite making eye contact with the woman, should she be some kind of wicked queen. However, the voice that this strange royal had used had been so kind and gentle that Wendy quickly decided that she wasn’t that sort of queen.
“I apologize, ma’am, I wasn’t aware that there was anyone else around.”
The teenager attempted to smile, although it was forced, as her embarrassment kept her from feeling the relief that had once overcome her. “I just happened to touch ground for the first time in…well days, actually.” She gave a nervous laugh. She wasn’t sure what she was supposed to say to a queen. Even if the woman was kind, she wasn’t sure if such a woman would want to hear about her adventure over water, how she was in search for her brother. However, queens were supposed to know their subjects. And it would be nice to have a queen on her side when it came to looking for her youngest brother…
“Perhaps this is too bold of me, but my name is Wendy Darling and my brother is missing. Is there any way you might know of him? You see, his name is Michael, and the only reason I’m here is…actually it might be more helpful to know where I am. Pray you know that as well?” Her voice was quick, polite, and as to the point as she could be as she still gathered herself. Hours of flight tended to make Wendy tired. Had this been a situation she had prepared for, she might have prepared something to ask; a straight forward question instead stumbling over her brief history of arrival.

She would smile at the girl, loving the freedom that she seemed to present about herself. It was somewhat of an odd place to find a girl playing around. Then again she wasn't that attune to what the children of the second kingdom do. Odette wasn't going to really ponder that thought to much. It could be something to ponder over later. As for the girl, she watched her get to her feet and say that she was sorry. The queen would keep on smiling. "It's alright child, no harm done." Then she would look at her solider and he would shrug a bit.
Then she would listen to what else the girl had to say. She told Odette her name and why she was out her. The news that the girl, Wendy, was looking for her brother and didn't know where she was was sad. She was would again look at her solider and frown. Odette would then look back at the girl. "I'm sorry to hear that Wendy. I'm Queen Odette of the seventh kingdom and we are in the second kingdom right now. Do you know when you last so your brother?"
