Personality: Tristan is a guy who is use to hiding away his true self because he was afraid that he would be outcast for his differences. It is because of this that he also has trouble trusting people as to do that he has to be honest with them and he isn't sure if he can do that. Though the one person who can bring out Tristan's true inner self is his younger brother Fredrick. He always felt that his brother never judged him despite his differences and his 'gift'. There is a bond between the two brothers that no other relationship Tristan has can compare to. Though because of the distance now between them it rare that this side is seen of Tristan while he is in Camelot.
Here Tristan is rather withheld person who prefers to watch others from afar than be in the thick of the crowd. This is because it is only natural to him as he had no choice but to sit and watch when he was younger as he was outcast by the other children. His 'gift' isolated him from them and so he has always been rather socially awkward towards others, needing them to start the conversation. As far as his love life goes he is hopeless with the only girls he has come into contact regularly being his mother and sister. While he can be quite gentlemanly he just seems to lack the courage to delve into romance and ask a girl out. So in his spare time he practice's his archery out in the woods a place he feels is safer than others.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Dark ginger which shines through better in the light. His hair is also quite messy from it's curly nature
Physique:Tristan is of average height just under six foot tall and has a lean but strong physic from working for his father who is a stone mason. To most he looks like the average commoner who lived in a town a few days ride from Camelot. His clothing consist of worn tanned leather and woven material made into cheap but tough cloth. None of the clothing her wears is particularly desirable or fancy but Tristan is happy with it as it does it's purpose and that's all he needs it to do. The only item of clothing he really hold valuable is the fur lined cloth his mother gave him. It has been her father and he had wished it was passed onto Tristan when he set out to pursue his 'gift'.

History: Tristan is the first born son of Gerrant and Elyane North. He was born into a family of stone mason's and was to be the heir to the family business when his father grew too old to do so himself. Though while Tristan was born into an ordinary family, he himself was not. And his grandfather was the first to see his little grandson 'gift' as he called it. Though not many others at first saw it this way. Tristan was blessed with the gift of magic, but unfortunately at the time of his birth magic was still outlawed and so his gift was one that had to be hidden. Tristan didn't understand why he had to hide it but his mother convinced him not to use it in public where anyone else but family could see.
Four years after Tristan came the birth of his sister and two more years later his little brother. Being a far bit older than him, six years to be more accurate Tristan took it upon himself to teach his little brother things as Tristan's father had taught him. When Tristan was ten his father started teaching him who to use weapons including a sword and a bow. They started with the bow and arrows first and Tristan found that he was quite adept with this, more to than the sword anyway when he began to learn how to star with his father. Though when Tristan was fourteen his father took him into the shop and he began to learn the tools of the trade that had been passed down through his family for generations.
When his younger brother Fredrick was older they began sparring together out in the field behind the family house. Though one day some of the boy from the village decided to interrupt the match and take on Tristan for themselves. Though Tristan found himself at a disadvantage when the blacksmith’s son came against him who was by far a superior swords man than Tristan himself. Tristan did his best to hold his own but was fighting a losing battle as the Blacksmith's son was known to be a cheat in sword fights. And it was as he was about to try and cheat to knock Tristan flat on his back that something surged within Tristan and with a swing of his sword the Blacksmith son went flying back despite Tristan's blade having only briefly clashed with the boys. It was then the town found out about Tristan magic and he was outcast by those who were supposedly his peers.
By this time magic was no longer outlawed in the lands but there were still those who believe that it was evil. It was from then one Tristan started not to trust other people and he spent most of his time working for his father as venturing out into the streets he could feel the disapproving eyes of others upon him. He would also get heckled from time to time by the bullies who had outed his gift but Tristan never retaliated as they seemed determined to get him to do. But this didn't stop him from having the sparring matches with his brother as they would go into the nearby forest and do they deadly dance between the shadows of the trees. Soon Tristan found the woods to be a safe place where he wasn't heckled or shunned and could be himself as the tree's where not judgmental.
Though when Tristan was twenty years of age his grandfather passed away and his cloaked was handed down to his with a message within it. The message was not to squander his gift but to go out and seek somebody who could help him use it to i's full potential. So Tristan set out to the city of Camelot as he heard that Merlin the adviser of the king and queen as he was the only person Tristan had heard of who he knew to have magic. When others heard of this they told him he was silly and that Merlin would never pick him a lowly stone mason's soon. But his brother believed that Tristan could do it and while he would miss him he was the one who convinced Tristan to ultimately go.
So going to the big city Tristan sought out Merlin and told him of his situation. As he studied the man’s face he thought he might just disregard him or tell him of somebody else who could help him out. But he didn't instead he told him that he understood and decided there and then he would make him his apprentice. For four years now Tristan has studied under Merlin and has learnt considerably things about his magic. Though while Tristan was nowhere near as powerful as Merlin he had grown stronger now he didn't have to hide his talents so much. Though he is still rather withdrawn around people he does not know as he is very good at sticking to the shadows when needs be. But when not with Merlin being guided under his wing Tristan can be found in one of two places, the market or the woods where he practices his archery.
But now there is a new darkness threatening the land as one of Camelot's old foe's Morgana has risen again and has taken over the kingdom adjacent to the one Tristan has lived in his entire life. But she is not alone and has even more evil upon her side than ever before. While he is scared Tristan knows that while the Kingdoms still hold strong he will be safe as untied together they are stronger. So currently he still resides in Camelot learning still about the gift he has been blessed with.

Role-play Example:
It was a bright sunny Sunday morning and the Longbottom household was decked to the halls with Christmas decorations. After Alice's breakdown and the comfort and help she had gotten from Marlene Alice had decided that she wasn't going to be sad and gloomy this Christmas despite all that had happened. Instead she was going to embrace the Christmas spirit and give Neville the best Christmas that he could now possibly have. She couldn't give him 'the best' as that would only happen if by some miracle Frank wasn't dead and was there to watch his son open his presents. Christmas may not be the same but it would still be Christmas none the less. It wasn't like they would be alone as Alice had her family just five minutes away from her and also he good friends the Potter's had invited both her and Neville to their annual Christmas party where they would be surrounded by friends some who were that close Alice considered them family anyway.
Though today Alice was expecting a visitor. Or two visitors to be precise. Amos and Cedric Diggory. While Alice had to admit that she wasn't exactly close to Amos she was glad for the company. He had been friendlier with Frank than Alice herself though there was plenty of time for her to strengthen the relationship between them. Amos was a friendly soul from what Alice knew of him and she was happy to have him over for what they were calling a play date. Not only would it be good for Alice to have a fresh face to talk to but it would also be good for Neville too. Ever since Frank passed Neville's mind interactions had been with either family or close friends. So it would be nice for him to play with somebody a closer to his own age. Sure Cedric was a bit older than Neville but Alice didn't see any harm in that as maybe he would be able to teach him a few things when he visited.
The idea of the play date came about when they bumped into each other passing by in the Ministry. Amos had offer Alice his condolences and said that if ever she needed anyone to play with Neville he and Cedric would be happy to oblige. At the time Alice thanked him for the offer but hadn't taken him up on it until a few days ago when she sent him and owl. A reply had come surprisingly fast and they had it arranged before she knew it. Alice's only concern was that they would be able to find the house. She had described the Christmas wreath that was hanging on the door in her last letter so they would defiantly know that they had the right house when they arrived. She just hoped that he didn't forget they had moved as if he turned up to their old address all that would be there to greet them would be the ruins of the attack and not a cheery and welcoming home.
While Alice waited she was trying to sort out Neville's hair's which just kept seem to quaff to one side in a very funny place and she was having a hard time getting it to sit otherwise. One thing that was for sure was that Neville had not just inherited his father's dark hair but also its unruly nature. It was nothing like his mother's long blonde mane that was for sure. Though Alice's wasn't having any luck with it and she wasn't going to use magic on her one year son like she might have done had it been her own hair. Though it seems her time was up for fiddling with Neville's hair as a sharp knock came upon the door, so Alice could only guess that their guests had arrived. "Come on Neville, let go and let are guests in shall we." Alice said lift him up off of the chair and balancing on her hip. She could have let him toddle along to the door himself but she knew he liked to see things from her point of view.
"Come in Amos, and Cedric I presume." Alice said after opening the door. She bent down ever so slightly when she said Cedric's name out of force of habit from doing so with Neville when she was looking down at him. Stepping out of the doorway Alice opened it wider to allow the two into the warmth and protection of the house and out of the cold jaws of the winter wind. "Oh you look perished; I'll go and make some tea. Just hang your coats on the pegs behind the door and make yourself comfortable." Alice said gesturing as best she could with a one year old in her arms. It was then Alice quickly whisked off into the kitchen to make her and Amos something warm to drink and some juice for Neville and Cedric. While she was doing this she sent Neville into the front room with the biscuit tin. Hopefully he would offer them a biscuit and not just shake it about as he sometimes did. Placing all four cups on a tray Alice went back into the living room with the drinks ready and set them on the table. "It's good to see you Amos; I hope that you and Cedric have both been well?" Alice asked as she picked up her own cup of tea and took a seat herself.
