Personality: Rapun is a gentle soul for the most part. She's a very fair and kind ruler, wanting nothing more than for her people to live happy and full lives. She is compassionate and very open with her love for others. Despite being locked up for years in the beginning of life, she is fairly trusting of people, though witches she does have some issue with due to her upbringing. Aside from that, she tries to see the best in people instead of the bad in them, giving them the benefit of the doubt, "innocent until proven guilty" sort of mentality. She is very much loved because of this.
She is also very loyal, if a friend is made with her, then you can count on her to jump up to help you in your troubles. Though at the same time she can be a bit protective of her loved ones, particularly her children, afraid of losing them as she has lost their father twice now and couldn't bare to lose them as well, but because she was kept so cut off from the world as a child, even while being protective she tries her hardest to let them be free. She holds a strong determination to keep those around her safe, brave and free spirited, it is hard to change her mind on things that pertain to the safety of her people, unless another option that is clearly better is presented, as she is not so stubborn as to not listen to others.
Because she was locked up as a child, she can not stand confined quarters, or that least not for too terribly long. She can only be in one place for so long before she feels the need to move to another room, or even outside all together. Because of this she has an adventurous spirit and loves going off to visit the other kingdoms, or through her own kingdom just to escape the confines of her castle. There isn't too much that can scare the queen, that she will let show that is, so she has no problems with this, though she is never too far or too busy should her kingdom need her.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Physique: Rapunzel is a pretty little thing. She has pale blonde hair and bright blue eyes. The fifteen feet of her pale hair naturally has a bit of a wave to it and flows down when left alone to rail non feet and eight and a half inches behind her. She likes messing with her hair at times so often times you will find her with her hair up in different ways, though a lot of this is so it's easier of her to maneuver with fifteen feet of hair.. Her stature is rather small, standing at only 5'3 1/2 feet tall and weighing in at about 118 to 120 pounds, but she was naturally blessed with a figure any woman would kill for. Of course having the youthful beauty of a woman in her early twenties has helped her plenty in looking good and she isn't complaining about it.

History: Rapunzel's story starts before her birth while her mother was expecting her. Her mother got a craving for one of the plants in the garden behind their home. So her father went to get her some, being caught by the witch Gothel, he promised his child to her in exchange for all the rampion, or rapunzel as is is also called, the mother desired. So when the child was born, Gothel came and took the child from her parents, naming her Rapunzel, after the plant she had been exchanged for. The child was then locked up in a tall tower with no way in or out except for a window at the very top. For years, Rapunzel was locked up in that tower, her hair never being cut as Gothel used her hair to get in and out of the tower.
Rapunzel had grown into a beautiful young woman when her forced solitude was broken. She heard the words that Gothel used to let her know she was there so she put her hair up on he hook just out side her window and tossed her seventy feet of hair out to the ground. She shrieked in alarm when it was not the witch, but a young man who climbed into her window. However, her fear diminished as he introduced himself as Prince Thomas and explained how he had been drawn her to tower by her singing the day before. So every evening, Thomas would come and eventually he asked Rapunzel to marry him. Ecstatic, Rapun agreed, and the two devised a plan to get Rapunzel out of the tower. Every time Thomas came, he brought silk with him which Rapun then used to start a ladder so she could climb down and to freedom.
Their plan seemed to be working, but Rapunzel became pregnant before the latter was done. One day, while Gothel was visiting her during the day, Rapunzel made a mention of how tight her dress was getting, accidentally revealing her pregnancy and enraging the witch. Gothel quickly cut Rapunzel's long, golden locks of hair and cast her out from the tower, into a desert-y land. Rapun wandered for a while before she found a nice place to stay where she could live. When it was time to give birth to her child, she was scared because she was alone. She cried and screamed for an eternity it seemed, but i kind woman happened to be traveling through and stopped to help her. Rapun was very pleased to find she had brought two beautiful children into the world and named the boy Kestrel and the little girl Rayne.
Rapunzel raised the children alone, as she really had no one to go to, and no idea where to run to, but it wasn't terrible really. About five years passed when a blind man stumbled upon her home, Rayne had seen him first and ran to her mother. When Rapunzel went to see if he needed any help she knew him immediately as her beloved, Thomas. She cried out his name and held him close crying as he told how that awful witch, Gothel had waited for him and pushed him from her tower, blinding him when he landed in a thorn bush near the bottom. Rapun cried, and some of her tears landed on his eyes, somehow magically healing him. The couple was overjoyed and so Rapun introduced their children to their father and the four headed for his kingdom where they were married.
She let her hair grow out long again, stopping at fifteen feet, deeming that the perfect length for her hair. When she was younger she had learned how to use her lengthy hair to do things for her, such as hoisting her to high places and pulling things to her, instead of it being a nuisance, and when it was cut she had left as though her head was bare so she grew it back out. She eventually became the Queen of the Ninth Kingdom where she still rules today, her castle built around her tower, as per her request, And she was all set for her Happily Ever After ending. Sadly, for her she still could not achieve this goal. King Thomas disappeared a good number of years ago leaving Rapun devastated and to run the kingdom alone. She hopes her husband is alright and often worries, but she also has her kingdom to run.
