The music that soared through octaves and notes floated through the trees, drawing more to the audience that surrounded the dancing man. Animals, hundreds of animals intermixing without borders. There was a deer standing right next to a couger, foxes and rabbits, birds perched on the antlers of an elk. If this was his audience he'd take it. The Piper smiled around his pipe, dancing with his long coat flaring around him, the laugh was in the note of his pipe, long and ringing. His gypsy clothes stood abstract against the forest that could no longer be seen as dreary in the moonless light. No, his music brought a new kind of light to it. Lights that weren't really there giving everything a colorful hue, making everything in the forest more vibrant.
The Piper twisted around, feeling the animals sway with him, listening to the barks of delight from the surrounding dogs and foxes around him and a more in harmony note from Bones frisking with him. Every animal was making noise, celebrating this moment in their monotone life where everything stood in relief to there eyes. Like a switch had turned on the light inside of everything. Made it more alive, more real at the same time as it was like a dream. And as he moved a wolf took a bold step forward before a sharp note from him and the dog's baying howl warned him back. No, they would all keep their distance. Let him dance and play. But this wasn't his hypnosis, didn't take over their minds and make them obey. It was just persuasion.
They couldn't resist the sound and feel of life at its best. People live in a dull world where even the colors aren't really seen as they truely are. He put that offer in front of them and they took it, broke boundries and rules that had been in place since the beginning of time. Predator and prey mingling to watch him play. The Pied Piper gave a ringing laugh around his pipe, and the animals yelped and sang in excitement and alarm before he played again. Dancing to the music that had broken thousands of rules created and enforced by nature. He lived for breaking them.

Used to travel using her Mists, the Lady of the Lake, was making a visit throughout the kingdoms. She had felt that the precious Balance had been disturbed and she needed to find the source or sources of that disturbance. She decided to appear on the Deep Woods, as that wouldn't call all the attentions to her. She liked to travel a bit anonymous though it was hard sometimes, especially since some inhabitants of the kingdoms, have unique abilities that would see through her illusions and disguises.
It didn't took her long to hear from afar a delicious sound. Music...yes someone was playing a very beautiful and alluring melody and Niamh titled her head as she tried to realize from which direction the sublime sound was coming. Walking softly through the woods, the Lady graceful walking posture seemed liked she was more levitating then walking, but the truth was that she was walking with light steps. When she reached a sort of glade, Niamh saw innumerous animals seemingly entranced by the music.
Softly and trying her best to not disturb nor the animals nor the musician, Niamh smiled as she saw who was playing such marvelous music. An old...well friend , could be used has they both respected each other and had a couple of things in common. She was cladded in silver and white attire. Her hooded cape was silver like the moonlight and Niamh took off her hood so she could listen better to the music and make herself seen by her old friend.

The music seemed to call for its own dance as he played, listening to the commands only he could really hear but everyone responded to. He'd never really control his dear pipe. But he loved it. The Piper twisted around, feeling Bones dance backwards on his hind legs, barking in sheer joy. While the animals bayed, whistled, barked and howled in rough harmony. They expressed their love and delight at this complete break in their normal lives the only way the knew how. And some still tried to move forward, cats that would rub against his legs, wolves that would soak his hands in drool if they could reach them. But the music and his dog pushed them back. Calling them to heel. The Pied Piper twisted again, his shoulder length hair flowing loose and tangling with a tree branch he was to close to, adding to the leaves and needles already tangled in the shaggy mess.
And his eyes caught a flash of overbright color in the already vibrant world. Silver and white that seemed to glow under the influence of his music, but ebbed down as he lowered the pipe from his lips, mischeivous two toned eyes glittering. And the animals shifted, glanced around, abruptly confused at how they were here and what they were doing. But they drifted away, taking no mind to the others around them with his song still dancing in their mind. "Niahm, long time no see my friend" His extravagant bow was made the gesture of a jester by his multi-colored garb that now seemed like the only spot of color in the forest without the pipe making everything seem to strong. To vibrant. To real. But really; all he did was remove that clouding veil from their eyes.
