Strengths: Friendly; kind; loving; compassionate; generous; caring; a good listener; selfless; forgiving; works well with others; extremely loyal. Ryan has powers that center around love -- for example, he can see relationship circles around people (romantic, friendship, etc), has powers of Persuasion, can see inner beauty, and can induce love in others (to a certain degree), and other powers that are still developing as of now (as are the ones aforementioned).
Weaknesses: Self-conscious; low self-esteem and self-confidence; gets easily embarrassed; can be taken advantage of by others; gullible; always puts others before himself, even if it means hurting himself; may keep his emotions bottled up from others; non-assertive; can fall into bouts of depression; mentally abuses himself; indecisive; critisizes himself; worries too much; too harsh on himself; often puts too much stress on himself.
Personality: Ryan is generally a friendly, kind and loving person, though he is also very quiet and shy. He hates public speaking and tries hard to avoid it, though is not opposed to speaking his opinion or inputting his beliefs when he thinks he has to, or when he feels very strongly about something. Most of the time, however, Ryan doesn’t like speaking out, in fear that he will get embarrassed. He is very self-conscious, and has a low self-esteem.
Ryan is compassionate and generous. He can frequently be seen on the weekends volunteering, be it at a soup kitchen, hospital, animal shelter, or somewhere else, and he loves doing his part of the community and helping out. This trait makes Ryan think more of others than himself. He is rarely selfish, and puts others before himself, though he will do things for others even if it means hurting himself; for example, letting them trod all over him and use him. He rarely vents his emotions onto other people, but rather satisfies his venting through writing; once in a while, this doesn’t work, and Ryan ends up spilling his feelings onto others in quite an emotional manner.
As a sensitive and caring person, Ryan is fairly easy to talk to. He is a good listener and tries to give help to others rather than criticism, even if the person is in the wrong for some reason. This reflects on the fact that he is non-assertive, and might let others take advantage of him.
He has a loyalty that you cannot find easily in another person. Ryan doesn’t give up on others easily, and is very forgiving of them; he is willing to stick by them even if they have hurt him multiple times. Although this could lead to negative consequences, one thing is for certain: Ryan is loyal to those he cares about until the very end.
Ryan has been known to fall into bouts of depression. None of them have been too serious, as they haven’t come to the self-harm or suicidal thoughts stage, but Ryan abuses himself mentally. He thinks about his decisions and whether or not he makes good ones, which constantly nags at his mind and makes him indecisive. He is also too harsh on himself, and puts an unnecessary amount of stress upon himself.
Eyes: Ryan’s eyes are dark blue.
Hair: He has dirty blonde hair, which he usually keeps styled in some way; the only way his hair wouldn’t be styled or slicked back would be if he was too tired or too sick to do so, and even then he usually wears a hat when he goes out.
Physique: Ryan stands at the rather average height of 5’11”; he is quite slim, and doesn’t have much muscle to show for. He is neither pale nor tan, more along the lines of somewhere in the middle. He is often a bit unsure of himself and carries himself as such; he walks with a gentle gait and has trouble looking in the eyes of people he finds intimidating.
As far as dress style goes, Ryan tends to dress in a sort of nice casual way, in a style that could maybe even be described as a bit preppy. He likes to wear clean, nice-kept, and usually darker jeans, slacks, sweaters, polo shirt, and other things that go along with whatever he’s wearing. His main footwear consists of Vans, unless he needs to wear athletic shoes or boots for some reason or another.

History: Creighton Aldric was an exciting person to the Embodiment of Love. He was a self-proclaimed -- and often proclaimed by others as well -- heartbreaker, who liked to sleep with the same woman no more than one time. To Love, who saw the appeal in all kinds of love, found his rigorous disregard for unconditional love fascinating. She tended to like romantic love better, but as the Embodiment of Love, could never get enough sexual love in her life, either. So, she ended up having a one-night stand with this fiery creature, and soon found herself pregnant. When the baby was born, she knew that she couldn’t raise it for many reasons, and so left it in a basket on Creighton’s doorstep.
For the first five years of the child’s life, he was known as Connor. As he grew, Creighton knew that he couldn’t support the child on the sort of drifter life that he lived, and even he had heart enough not to throw the boy out into the world to fend for himself. So he began working, mostly unsavory jobs, to keep himself and the boy living comfortably. This didn’t mean, however, that Creighton was very loving toward his son; indeed, he left him a lot of the time with a nanny, or even to fend for himself when he went off to work, and didn’t give him much attention when he was around the house. Love, who had a profound connection to her son because of the embodiment she presided over, was terribly hurt by Creighton’s cold manor toward their son, though she couldn’t do much about it.
Creighton’s jobs ended up getting him in trouble on more than one occasion, and his employer had finally had enough. He came to the house where Creighton and Connor lived, knife in hand and lackeys flanking his sides, intent on killing Creighton; and that was exactly what he did. Connor was watching the whole time, and when the man had finished off his father and was coming for him, he did the only thing in his power that he could: he told him to leave, and leave him alone. And surprisingly, it worked. The man left, ordering his employees to do the same, without so much as another glance at Connor.
Love soon showed up at the house, knowing what had happened to her son because of the connection she shared with him. She consoled him, and as a naive, trusting five-year-old boy, he didn’t question her presence; something about her had just seemed right to the little boy, and he wasn’t going to question that. In the end, Love knew that the magic would probably wear off on the men eventually, and so she decided to wipe Connor’s memory and send him to a different realm: Earth. She might have been able to protect him from the men, but she couldn’t take care of him herself, and she figured that he probably had his best chance on Earth.
Thus starts the story of his life that Ryan can remember. He woke up one morning in a hospital bed, with no recollection of who he was. His age was guessed to be somewhere near five, and his birthday was pegged as the middle of September, September 15th. He was placed in the tender care of Amaya and Chandler Bellamy, benefactors of the hospital where he was located. A year later the couple adopted Ryan, partially because they could not have a baby of their own and partially because they had fallen in love with him, and his name was officially made ‘Ryan Bellamy’.
Amaya and Chandler raised Ryan in with gentle and loving hands. He was never treated harshly and always felt like their birth child, even though he knew he wasn’t. About three years after he was officially adopted by the Bellamys, they adopted another little boy, this time one from South Korea, whom they named Kaiden. When Ryan was twelve, Amaya and Chandler also adopted a couple month old African-American girl, whom they named Eve. When both of them were first adopted, Ryan was a bit jealous of his siblings, though he quickly grew to love them. Just like his adopted parents, they are his true family and the only family he has ever known, and he would do anything for them.
Ryan was constantly picked on throughout elementary and middle school for being a bit smaller and weaker than the other children. He had asthma when he was young, which eventually faded away, though it kept him from playing sports, so he never grew to have a liking for them. Instead, Ryan loved to write, mostly short stories and poetry, and the Spanish that he learned from his mother. He also started learning French during middle school, and it became apparent that languages were something he was extremely adept in. Although Ryan was bullied in elementary and middle school, he had a few close friends, and gained even more in high school as he branched out and did some extracurriculars.
Another focal point in Ryan’s life was during middle school and early in high school, when he was questioning his sexuality. As it happens, he eventually came to accept himself as pansexual when he was seventeen. Though he doesn’t necessarily know it yet, it makes sense, for him being the son of Love -- even though he might have a type, it wouldn’t make much sense for him to love one certain gender.
Ryan also started to develop his powers towards the end of middle school, though he never told anyone about them. He kept them to himself, and tried to figure out how to use them, though they were always a bit confusing to him.
A few months ago, a seventeen-year-old named Kai Starshine came to Ryan ... and talked to him in a rather odd way. In his mind. At first, Ryan thought he must have been crazy, but Kai started to explain the situation, slowly, calmly ... and still in his mind. He said that he felt an ‘energy signal’ from Ryan, one like his own -- that they were both powerful beings, or something to that effect. And as they started ‘talking’ more and more, Ryan found himself believing Kai -- especially after Kai showed him some of his own abilities. Then Kai asked Ryan to join his group, the Shuujuku, and Ryan accepted.
