Black Hearts (Rumple/Morgana)

Morgana was not your average queen. For while she was of royal blood she wasn't given her thrown but she had fought for it. She had conquered Olde King Cole and over thrown him to bring about her own reign of the third kingdom. Though she wasn't about the stop and be happy with just one kingdom, oh no. Morgana wanted much more than that. Her goal was to conquer all of the nine kingdoms and not just one of them. Morgana believe that she should reign superior to the rest and have nobody to answer to. The people of the nine kingdoms would either bow to her or nobody. She suspected maybe only a handful of royals would serve her so she didn't intend to leave anyone of them a chance to plot a rebellion after her take over.

Now some might think that Morgana was wasting her time and that she should just attack the kingdoms straight away full on and frontal. But Morgana had learnt many things from her past and one was to let your enemies come to you and not the other way around. Instead of sending out patrols of armies to the different kingdom's to battle their way through in an attempt to capture the rulers, she did things more discretely. There was no way she would win by doing that as her forces would be spread to thin even with the aid of magic. Neither would it do any good for her to attack one kingdom at a time. As soon as the news of one kingdoms attack was heard of the others would rally together to great one force rather than seven remaining ones. This would make her task more arduous and the success rate drop considerably.

So she was paying untimely little visit's to certain royals to try and strike fear into their hearts and terror into their soul. She was bating them to make the first strike against her so they believed they would have the element of surprise on their hand, when in actually fact Morgana would have been waiting for them all along. But she also needed help of others in her party to do so as she could hardly pay everyone in the eight kingdoms a visit personally. So by enlisting the help of her followers it would so help show them just how great a force stood with her and that they were hopeless to power. It was now on this very evening that she waited for one of the people of her kingdom to show himself. She knew his tongue to be sharp and his words filled with poison, making him ideal for the task ahead. All Morgana need do now is wait and see if he would show his face to accept the offer.

Though technically a resident of the Third Kingdom, Rumplestiltskin rarely stayed there. He was, however, within the realm at the present time. He was uncertain as to how the war was going to affect him. Should he allow the Royals to kill themselves fighting a senseless war? Should he magically intervene and help them to claim his own victory over them when the time came.

Sensing approaching magic, Rumplestiltskin activated the pendant given to him by King Adam, offering him some protection should he need it. When he saw it was Queen Morgana he let out a chuckle that echoed through the area, magnified by his magic. "Why if it isn't the Usurper herself! Queen Morgana... you wouldn't be searching me out, now would you?" He admired her style, but it was too over-the-top for him. And her ascension put everything out of wack. His voice grew instantly angry and echoed more fiercely. "Olde King Cole was a merry old soul... then you WENT AND RUINED EVERYTHING! There is so much that hangs in the balance because YOU were greedy and went about everything the ENTIRELY WRONG WAY!"
