Personality: Red Riding Hood has outgrown the story that portrayed her as the damsel in distress. As girly and pretty this lady is appearing to be, she views herself as a fighter, a warrior, one who can save herself from troubles and need no one jumping in to her rescue.
Years has left this lady in good hand, her long terms training and chasing after the Big Bad Wolf searching for revenge left traces on her combat skills, only one ever sees her in a battlefield would notice how well Queen Red could fight, though as a skilled archer she is better at far assault than close combat.
As tough as she is, Queen Red Riding Hood is not cold-blooded, indeed she is a very loving person towards the weak. You can see that on her action by taking in children and take care of them
like her own. Sure, while training the Red Cloak, she might appear a
little stern, Red Riding Hood sees it as necessary, it makes the kids to learn from her, those survival skills are important. The ways she sees to everyone getting what they need however only proved her the opposite of an ice queen. She is compassionate and fiercely protective of the one she love, this could render her helpless if anyone threaten her with someone she cares.
Queen Red is actually a very confusing person - well, isn't all woman the same? She would be the least of the case because at least she would voice out what she wants, though things she might want might contradict one another, this lady will make necessary choice if she was forced to of course, she might not be as good a queen if she does not inherit this ability to hold herself together in time of pressure. Yet I have to remind you, she is still just a woman in the end.
Its lucky of her that she's got someone she love to give her strength.
Big Bad Wolf, nickname Bigby, should be her biggest enemy, one she sworn to kill but she failed her promise to herself. He would be the only person she needs to feel strength sip back into herself when she felt exhausted. She call him her lucky charm at times, and she view him as her mental and physical support.
A super confident person this
queen is, she held the grace and the pride. Oh, her pride will be one
thing you won't want to challenge, cause a girl like her has a big
temper - it drove her to search for a wolf for revenge didn't it? Queen Red Riding Hood knows that she looks really pretty, and she wears that like her crown. As long as it is at acceptable level, this girl loves to show off all her curves are worth, less of that now though seeing how she's a married woman, she knows her line to play. And you know, spotlight shine a little brighter when you have a special audience for you show.
Every girls love to hear sweet words and receive beautiful gifts from others, Queen Red has not sway too far away from that. Her favorite gifts from Bigby would be the wedding ring on her left hand, best moment in her life... Well it is a tie between the day he went down on one knee; the day she walked down that aisle in that red dress on her wedding day, when she said "I do" she saw the loves in his eyes; and also the night when they were one, when she knows he belongs to her.Her Bigby belongs to her, only her, forever hers. Don't you dare to take that away, or you will face the rage of a dangerous lady.
Sounds scary? I hope so, cause Queen Red Riding Hood could be a scary scary person if you cross her.
Adventurous and daring, this girl loves outdoors and everything it has to offer. The fresh air, the feel of sunlight on her bare skin... All these beats the heavy beautiful gowns and jewelery - she loves them too, but just grade them second place to going out for a trip, far or near - it beats all those smiles and waves at your grandest balls, beats any waltz she ever do to any music. It is certainly not that hard to imagine how a girl like her would jump at any chance to get out of the castle and ride her horse into the wood, hunting or just for a brief trip overlooking her kingdom.
It is her kingdom after all.
Though of many place she often visit whenever she has the chance, Red Riding Hood would avoid a specific place: the home she was born and raised. There are too much memories at that place, mostly bad, and she will never ever want to show her weakness in front of anyone, whoever that accompany her. Hence she escape that place like it was plagued, staying away simply for the sake of holding onto her strong image. Queen Red might looks tough but he always has a tender heart, and her sad past is still a wound unhealed.
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Black
Physique:We all know about the famous little Red Riding hood from our story books, most described her to have golden hair, and she appeared as a kid when the event took place. How many of you ever suspect even fairy tales has their flaws? Hidden under that set of Red hood, there was this girl with shinny dark long hair (waist long at the moment, but don't be surprise that she trim it short every now and then. We all hates split ends right?) and tan skin both results of her heritage as well as frequent exposure to the sun. Red Riding Hood is a outdoorsy girl, and when she's out and around, you're right, she would have her red hood on.
Little red riding hood has grown up to become a beautiful lady with delicate facial features that distinct her from the rest of the crowd. That pair of deep set eyes, bright with intelligence, that straight small nose, that full lips set on her smooth and flawless face, results from all the effort she puts on moisturizing it every day and night (what? You think you wouldn't have to take care of your already beautiful skin when you're part of a fairy tale? Being an immortal only means that you get this as a lifetime job). Combining her features, tan skin and her strong jawline gives you an image of a tough lady, but Queen Red Riding Hood is more than what you see her to be.
Sitting by her husband's side on the throne, our Queen Red could appear cold and distance. She sees sometimes by being a little stern is necessary, it helps getting things done in a limited time frame, like how she is when she is training the children in Red Cloaks. However, one know her would know that Red Riding Hood is a smiley girl beneath all that surface, and oh, how bright her smile is, one could certainly see how Big Bad Wolf would fall for her.
As a queen she is entitled to wear dresses and gown, she loves all that makeup and dress up moments, but away from public here's one girl who prefer something more comfortable. Specially tailored adventure suits made convenient for riding and shooting, and oh, also when she needs to deliver someone a roundhouse kick.

History:
Once Upon a Time...
I trust everyone of you are familiar with the story of little Red Riding Hood meeting the big bad wolf who pretended to be her grandmother in hope to eat her too? Now, there is actually a few alterations to this version of story, and there are more happened after the Woodsman cutting Big Bad Wolf open and rescued both the grandmother and Red Riding Hood than happily every after as per said in many story books. The true story is about to be reveal below, first time in the history. We shall rewind time and jump back to where Little Red Riding Hood started.
Once upon a time, there's a little girl who came to be known as the Little Red Riding Hood. She has a pair of very loving parents, her dad cut trees to earn for a living, he is also a skilled hunter who taught Red Riding Hood how to shoot as soon as she knows enough to handle herself; her mom stays at home most of the times, she is a skilled gardener and knows every herbs and plants that grows around the wood they stay in. She too, started showing Little Red Riding Hood plants and trees growing in the deep woods as soon as the young girl was old enough to learn. It was a happy family of three living in the Woodcutter's Village.
Red Riding Hood is a very kind little girl, she is caring for the animals and plants, most importantly, she loves her family so so much. One day, the day before she celebrate her 12 years old birthday to be exact, there came the news from her mother that her grandmother fell sick. Little Red Riding Hood hurriedly volunteer herself to pay her grandmother a visit, and that she will gather some medicine along the way and bring to her too.
So off little Red Riding Hood go, she set off that early morning to the her grandmother's home. It is a few miles away, deeper into the Deep Woods and would take a few hour's walk to reach. The forest itself was known to be dangerous with lots of unknown creatures roaming around, but both her parents were not worry, confident that armed with her knowledge Red Riding Hood would be fine.
The woods was so beautiful in the morning sunlight, there are so many to see, so much to explore. Little Red Riding Hood went off gathering the medicine her grandmother needs, she too gather a bunch of pretty flowers for her, for brightening her home. She was met with no danger along the way.
The following part of the story is very similar what we all know: Little Red Riding Hood reached her grandmother's home, she helped her clean up the place, she cooked for her grandmother and take care of the old lady. But when Red Riding Hood went to wake her up for dinner, she found that her grandmother doesn't looks like her grandmother at all; indeed it is the Big Bad Wolf pretended to be her grandmother and wanting to eat Red Riding Hood.
She did put up a fight, and ran hiding in a small space so Big Bad Wolf can't find her, but what's a young girl - even if she knows how to fight - to a werewolf? She was lucky that her scream attracted the Woodsman who was hunting nearby. He came in and helped Red Riding Hood to fight the wolf. Afraid to see the new help in the room, Big Bad Wolf ran away, the man and the girl looked around until they found her grandmother hidden in the wardrobe. They released her and Red Riding Hood tend to her until she got healthy again.
We were told that little girl got to live with her family happily ever after with her loving parents and her grandmother. However little knows that the real story happens just sixteen months after the day that story ended.
The mysterious slaughter of her parents in the Deep Woods makes so much sense to her then, Red Riding Hood knew that she has to hunt down Big Bad Wolf and revenge on her parents' death; suddenly becoming an orphan is so painful, that rage blinded her from seeing anything else.
Red Riding Hood sought help, and the Woodsman being so kind he took her in. Woodsman is the leader of the Woodcutter's Village, a place which was constantly haunted by the Big Bad Wolf since the last century. Under the lead of Woodsman, now they formed a protection circle to protect the village from Big Bad Wolf's further attack. The Woodsman took Red in and taught her combat skills and archery, Red Riding Hood mastered the latter with ease, and very soon excel in her lessons and be at the top among her peers.
The Search
She left what's left of her home at the age of sixteen, headed deep into the forest in search for her enemy, determined to destroy the Big Bad Wolf to cleanse this world of evil. She was brainwashed into believing werewolves are evil, mind you.
Her re-encounter with the Big Bad Wolf happened two weeks before her seventeen birthday, it happened right before breaking dawn. The moon held high witnessing everything happened down on the Earth. "Oh how well you've hidden yourself Big Bad Wolf. Today shall be the day you pay for all your debt!" That was what she told him the moment Red Riding Hood has her eyes landed on him, and she charged in for an attack.
The wolf was strong and fast, their senses are beyond human's too when they are in this form. Red Riding Hood was barely a match, her best achievement throughout the fight itself was cutting Big Bad Wolf on its biceps, Big Bad Wolf let out that cry which sent shivers down one's spine. She was prepared to deliver another blow, short knife on hand, however the wolf was faster then she was. Its hint leg kicked up and had Red Riding Hood flying across the air, she landed in the low berry bushes which broken her fall. She was scratched but otherwise unharmed.
When she finally untangled herself from the bushes, she was looking at the empty clearing, no wolf, no trace of fighting except droplets of blood slowly revealing its red color in the brightening sky. The sun was rising.
Her search began again, she was still that stubborn girl who won't ever give up on vengeance, especially not with her last assault came so close to her goal. However, this time, she doesn't need to search for long.
Three days after that, the girl was just in this clearing in the forest preparing for some rest after a long day of fruitless searching, it was a bright morning, ever since she headed off into the big world her own, she has gotten use to the nocturnal schedule: sleeping in the day and doing what she needed to do at night. She feels better to be on guard of all danger in the woods at night. So Red Riding Hood found herself a comfortable spot leaning against a Willow tree, she was wrapped warm in heather leaves, curled up among the soft earth pillow, and pretty soon her exhaustion pulled her down under even though sun shone bright on her...
It felt like she has just fallen asleep, the next moment she hear noises and opened her eyes again, she found herself looking up at a bunch of men surrounding her and staring at her curiously. Red Riding Hood went into defense mood immediately, only groggy and outnumbered, she was not fast enough. She was subdued and captured, by an army which were led by this strange man who seems to know who she is, he even joke about how recognizable she was with her Red Hood. Red Riding Hood has this weird feeling that he looks familiar but can't place her finger where she met him before.
The army brought her to a castle built deep in the Deep Wood, a part so dark and gloomy her parents always warned her to never wander into; how she was awed to see an intact building in this part of the forest. Red Riding Hood was taken prisoner, they locked her in... Erm, not exactly dungeon, instead it was quite a beautiful room, with queen sized bed, nicely decorated, fur carpet and velvet chairs, brightly lid, and the theme color of the room is her favorite red.
Everyday, she was given food, oh and how rich those food looks, the turkey and the mutton stew, the warm bread and the hot cocoa... She is however, nothing if not stubborn, Red Riding Hood rejected every single thing every single meal, even though she was starving and losing strength with each passing day, Red Riding Hood was determined not to give in to her weaknesses. She rather die than giving in to her captor.
Finally, the man who given order to have her capture came paying her a visit, he won't want the girl to die in his castle he said, he wants her to eat. And when all persuasion failed, he told her that he is exactly the Big Bad Wolf she was looking for, and told her that if she wanted to kill him for the mistake he committed she better eat so she could gain strength. He shown her the scar she left on his biceps to convinced her.
And with that, Big Bad Wolf left the room and left her alone with making the decision.
Red Riding Hood was refueled by his words, the Big Bad Wolf, within her reach if only she has enough strength to kill him. She wasted no time stuffing food into herself the next meal, and to gain back her strength she made used of every single thing she was offered, the comfortable bed, the bathroom for cleaning up... She was readied by Big Bad Wolf's next visit.
However that was not even enough.
As much training as Red Riding Hood has, she was no match to the Big Bad Wolf right then. Oh she was faster and more agile, her training and long time spent in the wood helped given her strength too. However, skilled in archery, Red Riding Hood has always been better at distance ambush than close combat. It was so frustrating for her to find herself kept being restrained by him, and he was more like fooling around with her than fighting!! She was beaten, bruised but not injured, as if he was trying to protect her. By the time he walked out of the room after her first unsuccessful assassination attempt, he was laughing, and he promised to come again the next day.
Which she prepared for, which she was still hopeless going against him.
It made Red Riding Hood so mad to know that she can't beat her worst enemy. Day after day, he came into her chamber and give her a chance to kill her; day after day, she failed when she though she has a chance. It soon turned into something like a training, 2 hours a day, each time they tried to explore each other's weaknesses and strengths, or it seems so to Red Riding Hood. Now who knows what Big Bad Wolf was thinking coming into her room daily and let her has a shot at killing him?
Living with the Enemy
Times passed as she was held captive in this castle and has no way to escape. Red Riding Hood took the chance to learn skills that Big Bad Wolf had somewhat taught her in all those combats. Sooner or later, she felt so comfortable around this place that the thought to escape no longer cross her mind, even when she was allowed to freely roam the place without a guard. She was even allowed to step outside the castle - as long as she is still held within the protection walls of course - and stretch her legs in the sun. But she stayed. Her reason being pretty simple: her life goal is to kill the Big Bad Wolf, and she has never been nearer to her destination than right then staying in Dårlig Ulv Slott.
It could be a lie, her reason to stay, but Red Riding Hood will never acknowledge it. Things gone on well in the castle, the host and guest got along in their own ways. There are lots of banter and fights, yeah, and death threats were still lingering at the corner of one's mouth (more like the corner of Red Riding Hood's mouth, Big Bad Wolf mostly laugh at her or tease her). The two were getting closer and closer in ways unnoticed by both, but everyone else could see it. It was however a dinner date that changed her view of life.
Nah, it didn't start off as a date. Ever since Red Riding Hood were allowed to walk freely inside the castle, she has been eating there at this grand dining room after a round of persuasion from her servants - and yes, she has servants, some sort of prisoners she is huh? Big Bad Wolf has never join her for dinner. She doesn't see anything wrong with that though, knowing he probably wanted to enjoy a peaceful dinner rather than eating with a girl whose biggest mission was to pierce his heart.
So I guess you can imagine how shock this girl was when Big Bad Wolf walked through the double door one rare day and seated down at the far opposite of the table. She kept her calm easily enough though, bent down her head and ate in silence, one can't survive in the wild as long as she has without a good armor that allow her to shield her emotions; Red Riding Hood still pride herself as a warrior, and warriors should hide their feelings well.
The air lingered awkwardness, the male and female ate in silence, or well they did until Big Bad Wolf started asking questions, this would be the first interaction they have apart from all those assassinating sessions. He asked her to complain to him things that she dislike about this place. She did. Miraculously, the complaints steered down into a smoother conversational banter as the dinner proceeded, even Red Riding Hood could remembers herself laughing and enjoying the whole time. After dinner, he never linger but bid Red Riding Hood goodnight and headed off as abruptly as he walked in.
This repeated the next day, and then the next, the girl was confused at first but she got use to it pretty soon, and then it became a habit. Red Riding Hood even started to like his company at dinner, it would no longer be lonely and cold eating all by herself anymore. She found Big Bad Wolf charming, funny and well-mannered, like a gentleman he was behaving, almost human, she thought him to be. She likes the fact that his guard is down when he talks to her, it allows her to know him more. Subconsciously, she started to think Big Bad Wolf as a man and not the super-villain everyone see him to be. Though she never knows how much she started to like him then, but when he told her to call him Bigby, she did, and thought the nickname fits this man who has been so nice to her.
Throughout her stay, Red Riding Hood was struck by a feeling that Bigby was taking care of everyone small little things for her, no more times that she find the food she dislike placed on her plate, her pillows were changed the next day right after she complained it being too soft, and she found her favorite flower stood beautiful and tall in her room after that first dinner when she told him about how she loves lilies.
The girl would never find herself admitting it at that time - being part of her still thinks that he is an enemy to kill - but Red Riding Hood was touched and she loves this feeling of being taken care of. She started to like the whole idea of him.
She realized something was wrong, her unfathomable longing for Bigby's cares, thinking she should end this infatuation once and for all and everything will go back to normal. She plotted and planned, got readied to kill him at that dinner night, after all, she should really strike him when he is at his weakest. She was nervous about her plan, if not thinking it as plain stupid, but she still determined to carry it out.
Red Riding Hood acted as natural as she could that night, if only a little more cheerful than usual, she told herself to enjoy him one more night. Before their dinner ends, before he walked away from the room, she requested from him a dance to the slow tempo music playing in the air, it was one of her favorite tune. Bigby agreed, they danced. Halfway throughout the dance, Red Riding Hood had her hand reached for the hilt of the butter knife she taken from dinner just now, hidden up her long sleeve; it will be her weapon to kill Big Bad Wolf. This is a foolish attempt as it is a plan which allow her to go nowhere, and killing the master would only results in her execution. The guards were just standing right outside this room, guarding the door. Red Riding Hood was readied to embrace death if it means she could revenge for both her dead parents.
But her plan was interrupted by none other by Bigby himself, she was still having two hearts about her plan, willing herself to toughen up and kill him, and the next thing she knows was her heart sped up with anticipation when Bigby leaned closer to her. They shared their first kiss there by the ending of that dance, Red Riding Hood's first kiss ever, she was so embarrassed at what happened after with her door locked from the inside. She won't want to see Bigby - or anyone else for that matter.
It was a mistake, her biggest mistake to have fallen for her enemy. And it is not just anyone, it is Big Bad Wolf, the ultimate foe who killed her parents and so many other villagers back in Woodcutters' Village. How could she forget that? How could she fall for him the killer of all those innocent lives? It seems to make sense to her now how this is not your normal hormones uproar, nor is it an infatuation she though herself was experiencing; She likes Bigby too much, staring up at her ceiling she thought, she likes the man too much and truly enjoyed every single seconds spent with him. She think she loves him, enough that even now when everything had become a mess, Red Riding Hood craves to see him.
And how strong that craving could be...
The Truth About Bigby
This day, when she finally come in terms with her heart and accepted her desire, she went back to her normal activities. It was wrong to feel like running into his arms at the sight of him, Red Riding Hood controlled her urge, and she trained hard again right after letting him know that she will still try to kill him.
Oh, what a stubborn girl this is, and she meant every words she said. She love him, but she will kill him simply because killing him is her responsibility.
Life went back to almost normal when she listen to all Bigby's tease and jokes. While in mix with all these now she was struck with the desire to know more about him. She got to learn about him of course, for some reasons he is always happy to answer her all kind of questions she asked. It became harder and harder for her to resist the urge to get near him as the days passed, and him... he did not even try to make the whole thing easier for her.
Apart from the dinner and her training session (since when it became that?) Bigby even volunteer to bring her out of the castle for a ride that one day. Red Riding Hood was surprised, but she agreed, craving to see the world outside after all her days spent locked up in this castle seeing no one but the servants and Bigby himself. The servants are good company, but they were as much brainwashed as she herself was, they believe that Bigby is a good man no matter what Red Riding Hood said to try convincing them.
And that day away was the day she figure out why.
As much as Red Riding Hood learned from the village - the fighting, the survival skills - as much as she had see in the Deep Woods, it has not prepare her for what she see at this place Bigby brought her to. Deep in the forest in this darkest part full of trees and tangled with vines thick enough to any human out, there was another world altogether. All these creatures no one else ever hear of apart from the fairy tales that was passed down from millennial ago: the elves, the fairies, the pixies, the centaurs, the goblins and many many more, they were hidden inside this small little sanctuary to keep themselves safe.
They dislike the human, an elf said, human are dirty creature who cares no one else but themselves. These creatures tolerate Red Riding Hood here mostly because she is with Bigby. And Bigby is viewed as the ultimate hero here, the savior, the leader. Red Riding Hood wondered why.
Not that he needed to wonder long though. The magical creatures are always happy to share Bigby's history with any worthy person who is willing to listen. And there she was told that Bigby was a Prince for the Kingdom once upon a time, when the King rules and the world as they know it were at peace. Human and everything else lives together then, they helped one another in lives. But one day there was an evil witch whose husband was executed by the king, she searched for revenge, cursed the royal family. The King and Queen were killed, which Prince Bigby having a fairy godmother protecting him, the evil witch's spell has not kill her, she cursed Bigby into a monster which will change every full moon night, and he would craves for fresh meat and blood. His fairy Godmother who protected him was turned into a pile of dust and the kingdom fell into despair.
The world as they knew it became chaos and the magical creatures was forced into hiding when human started to become greedy and abuse they magic into giving them protection against the evil witch's endless curse, she seems to be determined to destroy the world as she knows it. It was until one day Bigby destroyed the witch that life regained some sanity. Things get back to normal and the creatures, now afraid of being turned onto again, retreated into this small space they confined themselves into. Only Bigby knows their whereabouts.
Red Riding Hood was not sure which shocked her more, the fact that Bigby is a prince or that Bigby is a good guy?
Happily Ever After?
Things goes down a brand new direction on the day Red Riding Hood celebrate her eighteen birthday, Bigby thrown her a party in the Bad Wolf castle that involved all the servants and minions attending. It had both surprised and pleased Red Riding Hood, it was the first time anyone ever remember her birthday since her parents' death. Her tears dropped, touched by the simple fact knowing that he cares.
Red Riding Hood's tears somewhat got Bigby panicked, he thought he must've done something wrong which displease her, the man took out his brightest wit tried to stop her from crying, while every of his gentle words just felt like metal weighting her down in the sea of guilt. They ended up kissing again, even Red Riding Hood wasn't sure what really happened, but she remembered herself as the one started it, pulling him down for a kiss while she was so overwhelmed with feelings. This time there was no one stopping them.
That night she lost her virginity to him.
You might think Red Riding Hood would regret her actions, that she would kill Big Bad Wolf out of anger the next morning, but she was not even a bit upset. Being with Bigby she was happier than she ever felt, now she truly accepted her heart. It doesn't solve her problem though, she is still loving her truest enemy, one she will have to kill in the end, but at this moment she was happy enough to put all that to the back of her mind and just enjoy the bliss of being in love. It became especially more complicated and yet simpler when she found out she was pregnant with his kid. The couple hurriedly arrange for a wedding.
Twisted
While it has came to peace inside the castle, out in the villages, news of this girl went missing started to spread like wild fire. Everyone knows that she wears the scarlet red cloak, they got the inkling that she was looking for the Big Bad Wolf, and now they are searching for her. Public long viewed the Red Riding Hood as some sort of heroin and the Woodsman who scared the wolf away as the hero; Bigby has always been starring as the bad guy in their wildest stories, that's why the Big Bad Wolf kept himself hidden so well in this gloomy part of the Deep Woods!
Under the lead of the Woodsman who was looking for his little Red Riding Hood, the bravest of the villagers came charging into Dårlig Ulv Slott one day, they demanded Bigby to return Red Riding Hood to their side. By that time, the couple were already deeply in love, they were preparing for a wedding, she just found out around two weeks earlier that she was pregnant with his child, it was already three months' old. It should be a happy ending with them both hiding from the rest of the world, what's least of their expectation was the ambush. These human came at night, a night of full moon Bigby has to keep himself hidden and contained as he shift into a wolf so he won't hurt anyone. The security in the castle was thinned out.
The 'rescue team' fought their way into the castle, they've injured numerous members of the guards who were protecting the castle, and taken Red Riding Hood away regardless how she protested.
She has every intention to stay in Dårlig Ulv Slott, Bigby and her were happy ending in writing, there will be no more worries and pain, no more dilemma that if she kept hidden in this castle, she won't have to face with the consequence for falling in love with the Big Bad Wolf. But when she saw her previous master - and the leader of the rescue team - the Woodsman, she found herself couldn't utter a word. She knew exactly how her who betrayal of her core believes could results in her death. At that time when human are conservative and superstitious, every rules and customs set from before are to be obeyed, and she has just crossed the biggest line of the villager's true believes.
She was taken back to Woodcutter's Village and held prisoner once again.
If being prisoner means good food, lush bed and beautiful clothes before, this cell they put her in once they reached the village was dark and dingy; the food were soggy and stale, like they've sat too long in the humid air; there was no bed, pillows or blanket given to her, Red Riding Hood often has to curl up into a ball and slept by the cold stone wall.
The girl realized that she has to tough it out, whatever it is she has to survive for the baby growing inside her. She ate no matter how bad the food taste, she drank and kept herself as strong as she could in the condition offered, most of all she thought of Bigby, wondering what happened back in the castle after she left. Has the injured being treated? How would Bigby missed her presence? And the biggest question of all, would he come for her?
She knew she should not have this longing for his warmth, but she just did.
Life doesn't last long very long in this endless dullness too and oh how this girl hope it does, because the days went worst when the Woodsman found out that she was pregnant.
He called what's inside her the devil's spawn, one needed to be destroyed. What's worse is, everyone else agreed and they all wanted it killed. Outraged, being a protective mother she was, Red Riding Hood fought and attempted to escape the village, only she couldn't overcome the strength of the crowd. The village's healer 'helped' her abort the fetus.
That was the day Red Riding Hood started to wonder who was the real bad guy, the Big Bad Wolf who has been nothing but gentle to her? Or the villagers who were being so blinded by rage and vengeance they could kill an unborn child?
She was sent back to her own home and kept on close surveillance after that. Sitting alone for days, she cried until her tears ran dry and her throat felt like being in burning hell, she has never felt so hopeless in life. All trace of hatred for Bigby, all trace of vendetta she felt for him vanished into thin air now at the sorrow of losing their kid. She felt lost, she felt foolish to ever thought the way she did, for trusting the villager's view towards Bigby when he is really a good man. Most of all she felt guilty when she thought of the man she loves, for her inability to keep their kids from harm.
Beaten and held against her will, Red Riding Hood was defeated, she lost all her directions in life. It was the truth which triggered her back up again.
The Truth, The Betrayal and the Rescue
It happened 3 months after her abortion, Red Riding Hood was healed enough to move around. At the dead of the night after she was woke up by a nightmare of her dead kid's spirit hunting her for her care, she headed to the backyard to make a small memorial for her unborn child, thinking that as the last thing she could do for him (or her). She buried the bracelet Bigby given her which she had the thought to give to their kid, and she was about to mark the grave with stones...
That was when she overheard voices, two males were arguing in the forest not far away from where she was, both of them wanted Bigby dead - that has always been the ultimate goal of the villagers - and one of them were arguing the case that she should be send to finish the job.
"She should not be trusted after the stunt she had pulled! Did you see it? She was pregnant! With that wolf's cubs!"
"That's exactly the reason we should send her back. She learned her lesson, she should feel grateful that we helped her got rid of the devil's spawns grown inside her!" This voice belongs to the Woodsman that she respected all her life.
"You fool! She can't be tr--"
"This would have to go as planned, we didn't set her up all these years for nothing, and I simply doesn't want that filthy dog live a moment longer if you suggest that we train someone else for the job. Think about this, after all these years she still think that half-breed wolf killed her parents, he never even bothered to let her know that we did it! This alone I can twist and ignite her anger again. She will be the death of him especially if he loves her as much as we know he does!"
The unnamed villager was right, she, the Red Riding Hood should not be trusted.
That afternoon when Woodsman paid her a visit, Red Riding Hood acted like everything was alright then. She admit that it was her fault falling for Big Bad Wolf's trap, and she felt sorry for betraying the villager and all his teaching. She told him she was grateful that he got rid of those devil's breed growing inside her, claimed that it was that which clouded her judgement. She claimed that she can see now, how evil the Big Bad Wolf is. The girl acted along the direction Woodsman pushed her to. They brought her out to give her physical training again by the end of the day.
She planned escape, she needs to warn Bigby about what she learned from the village, how they plotted to destroy him and Dårlig Ulv Slott, it made the villager's job so easy now they know where he stays. Though all sort of plotting were a waste of time. Bigby came for the rescue, as late as he is being.
He led an army to their village, demanded the villager to give him back his wife, Red Riding Hood was so proud to be called so but at the same time she was so angry, angry that he took this risk for her. Two sides ended up in a battle, and as soon as Red Riding Hood broke out of her restrain (yes, they had never trusted her enough to let her fight in the battle), she aid the Bad Wolf's army fighting her own towns people. They finally got away, not without loses, both side suffered from injuries, and Bigby was hurt.
Calm Before Storm
Now, both Big Bad Wolf and Red Riding Hood were crown high on people's wanted list, with many injured they couldn't even go far enough to plan for an escape. They and the remaining of the rescue team who were able to escape hide themselves in this rather large cave they found. Red Riding Hood helped tending to the hurt. Even though she was good with wild plants and familiar with basic healing skills, things are not going as well as she wanted it to; some of the more severe wounds needed special attention and medical care that she couldn't find in the cold autumn. The girl did all she could to stop infections, one would call it lucky that they have not lose any more men - or their limbs. And there they kept themselves hidden from the rest of the world as they rest, taking turn to hunt for food in their surrounding and being on guard.
What worries Red Riding Hood most was Bigby's wound. It was not fatal, but she was afraid there would be infection, there were not enough medicine to use and he insisted her to treat the rest first. On top of fear, she felt so sorry to him, sorry that she lost their kid, sorry that she got him to risk his life (and all others) for her this way; she could never be so sure that she loves him more than right then, at the same time, she felt unworthy of his love; She was glad to finally have him back by her side, she felt so safe to be with him, the joy... All these mixed feelings were so confusing...
Two weeks after the big bang, they were found.
Though take a breather my readers, they were not caught by the Woodcutters' villagers, but found by residents of Miners' Village which was located near this side of the land. The villagers recognized Red Riding Hood from her good act helping the village during her short stays last time and none of them know Bigby as Big Bad Wolf since he was in his human form. Red Riding Hood introduced him as her mate. They were invited back to the village and those injured men were treated, included Bigby. They were asked and they recounted the story of Red Riding Hood's captive, the bad deed Woodsman and the villagers did (including her abortion which got a lot villagers shaking their fist in rage), the army were quickly accepted in this village.
Life after slowly stable down, those men who were healed, each of them taken up tasks to help make life in Miners' Village easier: those who can hunt would go out into the forest and bring back games for dinner; the strong helped fixing the broken in town; some helped with mining, others helped with processing the coals and metals. Red Riding Hood helped with house chores and like old time, more often than not she found herself the one who was stuck with all the children as their parents were busy with work or cleaning.
She loves kids, now more than ever. The look of these youthful faces reminded her of the kid she lost, someone she never get to know. Patient and kind, the lady took care of the children, she retold them the story of Red Riding Hood who went visiting her grandmother. The Big Bad Wolf was still bad guy, but the Woodsman has not cut him open this time, he accepted Big Bad Wolf's apology and moved on. Big Bad Wolf on the other hand, also learned to be good for Little Red Riding Hood. They all lived happily ever after.
She wanted to give these children something positive to hold onto, in this story it also reflected how much she has grown, to forgive is to find happiness. Big Bad Wolf is no longer the bad guy in her life, her actions also an attempt to rescue his reputation, though it was a year too late. When Red Riding Hood looked up to find him looking at her that night after she finished the story, she smiled up at him bravely. So he overheard.
He proposed to her again, this time in front of all the children that night, down on one knee with wild flowers in hands and nothing else. Does Red Riding Hood mind that he was giving her nothing else? No she doesn't. The lady just nodded, too emotional to even speak; they had a simple wedding blessed by a local priest and witnessed by the whole village.
The Big Bang
Things are nice and peaceful for a while there, even Red Riding Hood wonder if they really gotten their happily ever after then, staying in a quiet village with her loving husband. Maybe they can even try again to form a real family this time, she knows he wanted children of his own.
Bigby's identity was discovered five months after their marriage, he was found lying beside a slaughtered cow at the farm, a boy discovered him in the breaking dawn saw his form shrinking back into human form, he went running back the village screaming the news to everyone. Horror struck the villagers as they realized the truth.
Scared humans are always more fearful than the most cruel of the merciless creature, they wanted to eliminate Bigby for all his bad deeds, blinded by rage and fear. Red Riding Hood fought her way out to protect her husband, she will never allow this to happen to him, sworn to die with him if the villagers would do as they wanted. His loyal men helped too, promising to the people that Bigby is a good man. The villagers were forced to stop and see reasons simply because they couldn't and wouldn't harm Red Riding Hood.
After the last few months, changes had really occurred in Miners' Village. They saw how Bigby is, they saw how human and kind the couple is and always willing to help. They love Red Riding Hood a lot ever since her first visit two years ago. These villagers, although hated Big Bad Wolf but having never victimized by him before, found themselves easier to be open-minded towards him than the Woodcutter's. It helped the case when the village's leader stood out to say they should give Bigby a chance. Werewolves are bad in their book, but they believe these wolves too, like human they are individual and prejudice based on species itself does Bigby and Red Riding Hood no justice.
It seems like Bigby has not got everyone's acceptance though, there is this young man who hated Big Bad Wolf for some reasons, went looking for the Woodsman one night. He informed that bloodthirsty villagers that Bigby were staying with them at the Miners' Village, the male lead the hunting group back into the Village one afternoon.
It was bad, the fight. Miners' Village having been ambushed found a lot of their man injured as the hunting group doesn't even care who they kill as long as they could get to Bigby and eliminate him from the world. Blood flowed, innocent lives were lost. But Red Riding Hood has not know a thing, she was looking after the children in the Village, teaching the kid some basic defense moves when a man came running back with the news. She wasted no time picking up her arrows and bow and chased after.
But the clearing where they fought were empty by the time she reached there; Bigby were taken, what's left of a trace was blood on the ground and a note with Woodsman writing on it. It says: We will meet again the next full moon rises.
Which is just roughly a month away!
Red Riding Hood knows exactly what Woodsman want, he wanted to kill Bigby under the full moon, when he turned into wolf form, violent and wanted blood; that has always been the sadistic man's sweetest dream, to cleanse the world off evil when the demon shown their true form. Struck with new dread, Red Riding Hood returned to the Miners with determination to rescue Bigby, even though she knows how it is a trap exactly.
Have I told you before? Woodsman is the kind of person who won't forgive, he will revenge on everyone who crossed him. What Red Riding Hood did, betraying the whole village and his trust, it appeared to be the biggest fault he ever knows. He will pay back to her in a painful way. So, he found his opening knowing her weakness is Bigby, her beloved Big Bad Wolf he wanted to kill anyway.
But miracles happened for her, while Red Riding Hood thought that this might be the end of both of them - if she's lucky, she can beg Woodsman to let her die with Bigby, or anger him into killing her too - she suddenly found that she's not alone. Brave volunteers willing to help her stop Woodsman and his evil plan, they offered to go with Red Riding Hood to this possibly-suicide rescue mission, it seems like these villagers accepted Bigby more that they let on. They wasted no time planning and training, it felt like she was preparing for a war. 10 days before full moon night they set off towards the Woodcutters' Village, a place she would call home once upon a time, now a place she now viewed as the darkest of her past now.
Full moon day started with drizzle, it was as if the sky were crying the tears Red Riding Hood has no time to shed, with all the preparation and plans discussion, she barely have an hour of sleep everyday. She still think she prefer it this way how she never has a chance to break down, being its easier to hold herself together when she is still in one piece.
She and the army of 65 human waited for night fall with tension claiming their bodies, they witnessed how the Woodcutters villagers set up a clearing for this "cleaning ceremony" as they call it, they knew fire would be involved seeing the setup for a big bonfire in the middle of the clearing. And at dusk, before the night truly settled in, they saw Bigby. Chained and caged, being pushed to the very spot above where woods arranged; so he would have nowhere to escape even after he changed, and the cage would be on fire, burning him do death. What a cruel way to kill someone.
The ceremony began before the moon risen, the villagers gathered around Bigby. At the right time (before Bigby changed), the rescue team attacked. Red Riding Hood and many others let arrows flew, she doesn't care who she strikes anymore. To protect her love ones she willing to do anything.
But her army has never been big enough. As soon as the battle started, it turned into a blood bath and many of them were strike down facing those skilled killer in Woodcutters who held knives and axes.
As Team Red Riding Hood seems to be losing, they gotten another miracle arrived for them that night: the magical creatures came charging in, catching the Woodcutters by surprise. It turned into a bigger fight with magic involved, now the villagers were mostly seduced by magic these creatures wield, it was not even a fair fight, but both team lost enough people. Red Riding Hood found herself facing off with the Woodsman; this is the time to see if she excel her master. They fought, it was a tie match so far, him being tall and strong which she being evasive and fast.
It was Bigby's turning into a werewolf which interrupted the fight.
When one turned into a wolf, the person would lost all his human senses, that's what gotten Big Bad Wolf to attack so many people, most he might even know, but he can't help to kill. It is a irreversible curse. As strong as the cage and chains looked, a werewolf (especially one as old as Bigby) is stronger. He broken out of the cage, injured many other men, it was Red Riding Hood who stopped him though.
His escape distracted him, she never saw it coming but in a moment she found herself being in the Woodsman's grip, he was about to choke her to death, too enrage at her betrayal and her fight for Bigby and not him to see reason anymore. She was losing her senses and strength to fight as air couldn't reach her lungs a few more seconds, but just before she was lost to the world forever, the Woodsman was being thrown away from her. She fainted.
Long Lives The Queen
Red Riding Hood found herself came back to consciousness a few days after the fight, staring up a wooden ceiling with sunlight streaming into the room. She found her whole body sored and ached, with mild concussion giving her a hard time to remember much, but she remember she saw Bigby and how happy he was when he saw her came around.
Don't worry too much though, Red Riding Hood recovered in time. What surprised her was when she heard the news that the Woodsman has been (not killed) but turned into something like Bigby, a werewolf. A form he despise himself as more than anything else in the world. Now who knows a werewolf's bite can turn others?
While Woodsman was no longer their worries, he has ran deep into the wood after discovering what Bigby did to him, the Woodcutters villagers which were beaten were locked away. Everyone else seems to be waiting for her to decide what to do with these human, much to her surprise. Kind and forgiving (or she learned to be forgiving), Red Riding Hood asked for them to be released, and life could go on as it is.
But not for her.
After a month or two after she was fully healed, Bigby brough the girl home to Dårlig Ulv Slott. The couple were welcomed by all the magical creatures, and the put across the idea that Bigby and Red Riding Hood should reclaim the throne that has been left alone for so long and rule the whole Kingdom; they were sure Bigby and her would make a good King and Queen.
Red Riding Hood was surprised at the proposal, but she also couldn't reject it, especially when everyone started begging her to lead them; Bigby seems to agree too. She finally nodded and gotten a loud cheer from the crowd.
An official coronation ceremony was held in the throne room one beautiful day, the Second Kingdom revived (or reviving) and evolved into a peaceful place. Queen Red Riding Hood rules alongside Bigby, their kindness made them loved by the villagers and the magical creatures, some of whom came out of hiding and once again found themselves among the human.
Queen Red has a good life, she was happy with Bigby. They thought of forming a family, it will be so wonderful to have kids, but there was no news from her after so many tries. Red Riding Hood was sure that the abortion has damage her ability to give birth. She was devastated to know that, there were a lot of tears, until one day on their day out riding Bigby and her met Hansel and Gratel, who said they escaped the evil witch and has no parents. The couple took them in, loving was in their nature, they took care of the children as if their own.
It should be a happily ever after until disaster came rushing by, Morgan Le Fay, Maleficent and another witch overthrown Ole King Cole and took over the Third Kingdom has everyone else seized with fear. Queen Red Riding Hood once again finding herself fighting to protect the ones she loves, which this time who she needs to protect has become bigger, it involved the whole 2nd Kingdom that she rules.

Role-play Example:
Red Riding Hood pushed open the side door by her chamber which would lead her to the balcony overlooking the forest which surrounded the castle. The chilly early autumn wind welcomed her as soon as she stepped out, it was not quite unpleasant one the skin, while the coldness and the freshness of it was even feels alerting, something one would need to chase away her drowsiness. The lady took in a deep breath and moved forward.
She has always love this view, the view which was showing her that the world is bigger than she always see it to be, it is so vast that even for as long as she lived, Red Riding Hood would never say she has seen it all. She has not see what's on the other side of the mountains for instance, what kind of world will that be over there? Will be lawn be green and the sky be blue? Or is it so very different from the ground she stood?
The Queen hoped that she can find it out one day.
Silence was only broken by the swishing and swooshing of her cloak fanning out behind her, even she has became the queen, she has the beautiful dresses and wonderful clothes she would still prefer her getup and her red riding hood, one thing that came to define her as her. This silky hood has lived so long with her, even she wasn't sure how long has it been, it has seen all that she has been through. From when she was a kid until she went away hunting for Bigby, she felt in love with him, and how they love went a big circle finally coming together; it witnessed all. Just don't ask her how she protected it that it is still new and unscratched after all these time, the red riding hood could be magical for all we know it.
So it was fluttering behind the lady as she stood near the edge of the balcony, holding onto the stone rail as she allowed her pair of grey eyes scanning the space and woods below her. She could see her loving Red Cloaks practicing archery to her right, they were always so hardworking practicing even when they are on their own;for this alone Queen Red was proud to see. To her left she could see some magical creatures weaving in and out of the garden they grew in the castle, it has been so nicely tended and acting as an recreation space for them, especially when there is a party.
Looking at all these, feeling her heart so full with pride and love, Queen Red could barely believe that she hated this place once, when Bigby first taken her here. She even decided to starve herself to death in order to not living in this "hell".
Now it became her heaven, especially when Bigby is around.
But he is not today, and Queen Red was stuck with piles of documents, proposals and bits and tips of information letter she offered to help him go through in order to lessen the burden on his shoulders - and also increase the time she could monopolize him as her own. This short break was long called for since an hour ago, thinking of this itself she stretched widely to release the tension in her muscles. Who would know it is so exhausting to be a queen? She is so going to ask Bigby to give her a massage tonight.
"Knock knock" there came the knocking on her door.
A quick frown came between her brows, but the lady was already moving back into her room to answer the door. Her eyes were filled with question when she saw two guards standing outside her door, "Yes?" she asked them directly. Usually her personal servant would do this, but this is her rare day off heading back to the Miner's village to visit her mom, so Queen Red was left to fend for herself. It is a weekend anyway, she doesn't need a servant being by herself on her down day.
"Your royal highness," they bowed after a moment taken to recover from their shock to see the queen directly after the knocking, "Sorry for disturbing, but you would probably want to see this..." Guard A said.
Her eyebrow jumped up automatically at the request, everyone knows the rules to not disturb her and Bigby in their downtime unless it is urgent, this must be one of those things she would need to tend to.
"Sure. Lead the way," Firm and quick decision, Red Riding Hood let herself out of her chamber and closed the door behind her softly before following the guards down towards the hall. Her mind whirling along the way as she walked down the series of corridors, she wonder could it be anything wrong or has any accident came up, she hopes not.
Red Riding Hood could never expect the what's waiting behind those big wooden doors.
